  • Favret, 2008, Remaudière & Remaudière 1997 list Aphis (Aphis) chrysothamnicola infrequens as an invalid trinomial because Knowlton described it as "n. sp." It seems more likely that Knowlton simply made a mistake and meant it to be "n. ssp."
