  • Favret, 2015, Amyot erected this genus for "laricis Hartig", but in citing Kaltenbach, who himself incorrectly cited Hartig, and in describing the insect, it is clear that Amyot was referring to laricis Vallot.
• Type species:  Chermes laricis Hartig, T. (= Adelges laricis laricis), by original monotypy
• No first use as family-group name is recorded in the database.
